About This Project

Summary

KUPPA, or “Kiva Updates: People Podcast Association'' is an internal HR podcast aimed at strengthening communication across Kiva. KUPPA takes deep dives into topics like benefits, career development, cross-functional project awareness, and remote teambuilding. The team releases a new episode each month featuring a different guest(s) and topic, highlighting important reminders, business updates, and fun facts about our colleagues in a lighthearted, conversational style.

Goals & Objectives

In Kiva’s remote setting, KUPPA aims to communicate updates & information in a fresh way that both engages a wider audience and fosters belonging and connection. Additional goals are to strengthen awareness of cross-team work, deepen relationships, and emphasize an approachable and accessible HR tea

Results & Impact

Before KUPPA, 74% of Kivans felt well informed of company updates, and in the next survey, this jumped to 87%. Most recently, this number was at 100% for our Nairobi team, which has been great to see with KUPPA reportedly increasing a sense of connection among this more geographically isolated team.
