Summary

The Doula Expo by Mama Glow is a culture- shifting festival that centers a vision for the future of birth work. It’s a 2-day weekend-long live event that caters to birth professionals and families and prioritizes maternal health education through activations, amplifying awareness and cultivating consumer relations. The 2023 Doula Expo took place at Hudson Yards in New York, NY where we activated 60,000 Sq ft of space & hosted over 45 brand partners including CVS Health, March of Dimes, & more.

Goals & Objectives

The Doula Expo is the first and only festival of it's kind, with a goal to highlight Black maternal health, health equity, advocacy & platforming leading researchers, elected officials, community stakeholders & birth workers who are working to improve maternal health outcomes in the USA.

Results & Impact

The Doula Expo hosted 2,000 guests, & has been widely celebrated in publications & online platforms including CNN, ABC, Essence, The Bump & more. We garnered over 320 Million Impressions & the 2023 Doula Expo was featured on Good Morning America & coined “The Coachella for Birth Workers & Families”.
