About This Project
Summary
The Case for Childcare addresses the critical childcare challenges that impact working families and the broader economy in the US today. Our Collaborative of over 40 cross-sector partners is building the business case for childcare by underscoring the role the private sector plays through creating better policies and benefits, and advocating for systemic change. Together with data, storytelling, insights, and partnerships we are highlighting and amplifying the urgent need for childcare reform.
Goals & Objectives
Our goal is to raise awareness among business leaders about the economic and societal benefits of supporting childcare. By empowering employers with practical solutions, we aim to mobilize at least 50 employers to improve policies and benefits that support over 50,000 caregivers in the workforce.
Results & Impact
In 2024, we launched a microsite to widely share our research and advocate for solutions. Our social campaign reached over 500,000 people, igniting conversions and action around the childcare crisis. We have engaged over 80+ employers, advocates, nonprofits and innovators as partners & co-designers.
