About This Project

Summary

In 2022,we began our transition to the Whole Family Approach philosophy using Family Centered-Coaching model with a pilot project of targeting households with children that were current participants of one our housing assistance services. This pilot had great success throughout its first year.In 2023,we began to transition each funded service of the entire agency to using this approach & restructure to focus more on the needs of the entire family rather than providing only one service at a time.

Goals & Objectives

The goal of the WFA is to break down silos within our agency & put equal priority on the needs of adults and children. Family-centered coaching approach allows staff to partner with families holistically, taking into account their strengths and goals, challenges, & systemic barriers.
