About This Project
Summary
In the past, decoding geospatial data was a complex challenge requiring significant technical expertise. But thanks to AI advancements, this is changing fast. AI can help streamline Earth analytics, opening up incredible opportunities for climate, nature, and people worldwide. Clay is a nonprofit built to democratize Earth observation — the collection, analysis, and use of data to better understand our planet.
Goals & Objectives
We designed the data, platform and user experience so that whether you’re a journalist, activist, investor, or simply curious, you can map, monitor, analyze, or report on anything Earth-related — harnessing the power of Earth information without needing to touch a line of code.
Results & Impact
Clay is now being used with journalists, non-profits and NGO's to map and understand changes on our Earth's surface, mapping seagrass, tracking plastic, finding illegal gold mines and a host of other uses.
