About This Project
Summary
Finalist for the 2024 SXSW Innovation Awards, creativity, community and inspiration collide with DrawnTogether, a collaborative drawing social platform that challenges the bounds of the imagination, inspiring users to create surprising works of art regardless of skill level. Users create profiles in the app and are able to explore or create collaborative art with others from around the world including a diverse group of 45 featured artists. Any artwork created is co-owned by its collaborators.
Goals & Objectives
We provide a unique way to communicate through visual art. Art has long served as a powerful and therapeutic means of interaction and we promote a non-verbal dialogue between users, fuelling connection, belonging and self expression. We aim to provide a space where anyone is able to create together.
Results & Impact
We released in November 2023, partnering with a roster of 45 featured artists, and DrawnTogether has since produced over 28,000 pieces of art. Our user base continues to grow steadily, with positive customer feedback and dedicated super users who are creating in our app daily.
