SheThePeople, headed by the award winning Shaili Chopra, is a pioneering feminist platform that amplifies voices of women in India. What started as a digital initiative has grown into a transformative movement, reshaping how women consume content and drive change in their lives and careers. With diverse narratives, it brings women's issues to the forefront of policy tables. Under Chopra's leadership, the platform empowers women, fostering a community where stories inspire and catalyze change

Goals & Objectives

To become the voice of every woman in India with relatable content on shared problems, stereotypes and challenges. Our goal = 1 million stories. To be inclusive, SheThePeople set out to transcend language, making every woman's voice heard - beyond English it is in 5 languages. 5 more in 2024

Results & Impact

From One to 50 million: SheThePeople started in 2015 as a one-person effort, has since spotlighted over 1 million women. With digital power, it gets 50 mn views a month, high engagement & has a thriving community of 6 mn. By award winning journo Shaili Chopra, it now has team of firebrand women.
