ENVIRONMENT SERIES (Rebuild)

About This Project

Summary

Our Better World, the storytelling initiative of the Singapore International Foundation, tells stories of good in Asia to inspire action. This marks the second year of OBW's Environment series, which focuses on the need to rebuild ecosystems in order to protect our planet. This series comprises videos and multimedia opinion editorials, alongside events aimed at fostering dialogue and showcasing initiatives in South-east Asia dedicated to revitalising our planet.

Goals & Objectives

Our campaign aims to raise awareness of environmental issues and inspire action towards rebuilding our planet. We emphasise the galvanising power of various grassroots initiatives, from efforts to revitalise a river in Malaysia to programmes that rewild spaces in Singapore and the Philippines.

Results & Impact

Our campaign attracted 7.5 million views and inspired more than 2000 actions, including volunteer sign-ups at the featured organisations. Following the event, participants expressed an appreciation of the importance of environmentally-driven planning.
