Summary

Our Better World, the storytelling initiative of the Singapore International Foundation, tells stories of good in Asia to inspire action. Our film brings viewers into the inner world of individuals from a Malaysian low-income community who have suffered personal trauma. It highlights their emotional struggles that take a backseat to pressing concerns such as finances and housing, and celebrates how local non-profit Thrive Well addresses their mental wellness through its counselling programmes.

Goals & Objectives

To prove that communities can thrive if mental healthcare is accessible to all, not only to those who can afford it. Our film features individuals who have been empowered by this programme, shedding light on the importance of mental well-being for marginalised communities.
