Women Empowerment Series: Shaping a Fairer World

About This Project

Summary

Our Better World, the storytelling platform of the Singapore International Foundation, showcases social impact initiatives in Asia to inspire action. Empower HER is a three-year series that strives to generate awareness, understanding and empathy on women's issues to inspire positive change. Its second edition explores how women can stand as equals, and through access to opportunities and resources, become pillars of strength who enrich the lives of their families and communities.

Goals & Objectives

The series aims to foster a deeper understanding of the experiences and struggles of women in the region. By lending insights into their challenges, we can cultivate a culture of empathy that can, in turn, drive female empowerment and actions taken to support the featured NGOs.

Results & Impact

The series drew over 10.5 million views across our videos and blogs, and inspiried more than 4000 actions in support of the featured organisations. Post series launch, these organisations reported an increase in enquiries, reflecting a positive reception and bolstered support for their causes.
