About This Project

Summary

Stanford Data Ocean offers free Stanford certifications in precision medicine education to low-income individuals in all 50 U.S. states and over 60 countries. We form partnerships with local and international leaders to reach our students, who lack the socio-economic or educational resources to beak into medicine. Our unique and comprehensive curriculum empowers them to apply the cutting-edge bioinformatics knowledge in their research projects, startups, jobs and apply for academic programs.

Goals & Objectives

80% of certified students secure a job or internship in 3 months, 90% reach the local median income in 1 year, and 90% are willing to mentor. 100% of full-time workers finish in 2 months, 95% use AI at work, and 95% would recommend the program. Gender diversity is well-balanced.

Results & Impact

We empower the next generation of biomedical innovators to tackle the unique health needs of their own communities. We offer the programs for free to over 1,000 low-income students from 50 U.S. states and over 60 countries. Certified students feel more confident in job and academic pursuits.
