About This Project
Summary
We help amplify kids' words and experiences through the Story Love program. We build trust by making people feel seen, heard, included, and respected. Those are not vague ideas for us; they are core values that we build into our staffing, curricula, performance aesthetics, training systems, operational approach, and evaluation criteria. We are committed to sending a positive, highly personalized note of encouragement in response to every young author who sends a story to us.
Goals & Objectives
We are dedicated to bringing creative writing and literacy programs to under-resourced schools and kids. Through Changemakers, we’ve been able to make learning more accessible, engaging, and fun for the kids, schools, and families who need it most.
Results & Impact
As a result of our many programs, thousands of children send us their original stories. We are committed to sending a Story Love note of encouragement in response to every story. Through our corporate volunteer program, we are able to respond to nearly 30,000 kids with inspiring notes each year.
