A collaboration between TED Countdown & Fine Acts, Artists for Climate is a unique initiative for digital illustrations on climate change, with a focus on hope and solutions. Through open calls and dedicated creative bootcamps around the world the SPRINTS program brings artist together for a 2-day bootcamp to connect, collaborate, and create powerful open-licensed digital art to help individuals and organizations illustrate their climate work.

Goals & Objectives

- Deepen artists' understanding of climate change and inspire new work rooted in hope - Empower artists and their communities around the world through in person events like bootcamps and gallery exhibits - Provide access to free artworks to help organizations accelerate their work and inspire action

Results & Impact

Between 2021–2024, the project has engaged 1600+ artists from over 100 countries to create open-licensed visuals on climate change – free for anyone to use or adapt. We have seen 120K page views; 700K views of the Climate Collection on TheGreats.co and hundreds of use cases around the web.
