About This Project

Summary

Our young people are inheriting the biggest challenges the world has ever faced like hidden poverty, mental health issues, and climate change, while experiencing an outdated education system. We envision a world where every young person in Ireland has the essential skills to tackle these challenges, thrive in their lives, and workplaces, and positively impact their communities. No young person should feel on the edge; each should have the tools to re-imagine the world we have given them.

Goals & Objectives

We wanted to connect thousands of students across Ireland with hundreds of industry professionals to unlock knowledge through a free comprehensive 360-degree learning experience helping them to learn critical skills to become the change-makers of the future. It's a B!G Idea!

Results & Impact

The B!G Idea has empowered over 10,000 young people to tackle real-world problems, resulting in hundreds of local and global innovations. 100% of students have learned new skills for life. We have been recognised in a recent OECD report for our creative and innovative impact on education in Ireland.
