Summary
There's more data than ever before. Yet, many policymakers struggle to access or make sense of this data – be it from not having enough resources, lacking the tech know-how, or simply needing to mount high levels of bureaucracy. The Data to Policy Navigator wants to fix that. Our easy-to-use tool guides policymakers through designing data-informed policies. It offers step-by-step advice, global case studies, an AI chatbot, and an open data repository—all under one roof.
Goals & Objectives
Ultimately, the Data to Policy Navigator wants to make it significantly easier for governments to work with data to design more inclusive and sustainable policies. It’s set out to become the go-to resource for policymakers seeking quick, relevant, and reliable guidance.
Results & Impact
As an accredited digital public good, the Data to Policy Navigator has become a trusted source for policymakers. So far, over 15,000 people from 197 countries have used the site. The content has also been integrated into national capacity trainings and projects across eight countries.
