Summary

V-Day’s “Afghan Women Speak, Stories from Inside Afghanistan” is a blog series to amplify the voices of Afghan women who can never be silenced as they share the reality of their life when every day the rights of millions of Afghan women continue to be violated, stripped and threatened. It acts as call to share and spread the voices of Afghan women and their families across social media and place emphasis on the fact that local women best know what their communities need.

Goals & Objectives

The series raises awareness and amplifies the voices of Afghan women. It invites the audience to engage and to support the Simeen Mobile Health Team working against all odds inside Afghanistan.

Results & Impact

The stories are reaching thousands with their first person accounts from inside Afghanistan.
