About This Project
Summary
Convened by Namati, the Grassroots Justice Network (GJN) is a global legal empowerment community consisting of over 15,000 members representing over 4,000 organizations from 175 countries. Previously a part of Namati.org, GJN sought to spin off the network as its own web property to establish a distinct identity that would further engagement with existing and prospective users and better support its commitment to helping people know, use, and shape the law.
Goals & Objectives
We sought to decouple the network from Namati.org and establish the GJN website as the leading resource for legal empowerment learning, discussion and action. Other goals included a new brand rollout, user interface enhancements, development of online learning capabilities, and enhanced privacy.
Results & Impact
In the 10 months since launch, the GJN network has seen a 72% increase in new member signups from the previous year. Their new online learning courses have received nearly 1000 enrollments. The site itself recorded a 58% increase in average user engagement time and a 14% increase in views per user.
