Goals & Objectives
Our primary goal is a sold-out event, which will enable us to raise as much awareness and funding as possible. We have moved the event to a larger venue this year, after last year’s survivor dedication ceremony overflowed the stage.
Results & Impact
Recognized as Pittsburgh’s largest Halloween event, Wig Out hosted 600 guests in 2023, 63 of them cancer survivors, and raised $64,000 for YASU’s programming. With all attendees wearing Halloween wigs, it’s also a chance for the community to unite and for survivors to feel a sense of belonging.
