The 5th Annual Anthem Awards are proud to honor Paris Hilton with the 2025 Anthem Advocate of the Year Award for the powerful use of her platform and voice to champion child protection and philanthropy.

As the founder of 11:11 Media Impact, Paris Hilton has dedicated herself to helping people “sliv” their best lives. Through this nonprofit, she played a pivotal role in the passage of the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act in December 2024. The groundbreaking law strengthens oversight of youth residential treatment facilities. Paris courageously shared her own experience of abuse and neglect in her 2020 documentary, “This is Paris.” The project shed light on this critical issue, empowering countless survivors to speak out and demand change.

Beyond her advocacy, Paris has raised significant funds for wildfire relief and made generous contributions to aid earthquake victims in Mexico. She has also been a longtime supporter of the Starlight Children’s Foundation and has contributed to numerous health-related causes, leveraging her influence to uplift vulnerable communities.

Frances Tiafoe, Athlete of the Year

In honor of his achievements as a world-class athlete and his inspiring commitment to giving back, we are proud to honor Frances Tiafoe with the 2025 Anthem Athlete of the Year Award.

Rising as an immigrant at a public tennis center in Maryland, Tiafoe is one of the most dynamic figures in professional tennis. Off the court, he is equally powerful—championing racial justice, expanding access to the sport, and inspiring young people through the Frances Tiafoe Fund and national youth clinics.

From launching the “Racquets Down, Hands Up” movement to investing in the next generation of players from underserved communities, Tiafoe is using his platform to build a more inclusive future. Tiafoe’s efforts serve as an inspiration for many. His advocacy embodies the positive impact of using one’s influence for the betterment of society.

The 2025 Anthem Impact Creator of the Year Award is being presented to Creator and Advocate, Brooke Eby, for her work in shifting perceptions and sparking crucial conversations about ALS.

Diagnosed with ALS at just 33 years old, Eby became a powerful voice on social media. She utilizes her wit to foster community and raise awareness. Through her candid content, she hilariously shines light on the lived reality of ALS and redefines how we discuss terminal illness.

Beyond social media, Eby is breaking down barriers within the ALS community with her organization, ALStogether. Using Slack, the organization offers patients a direct connection and allows them to discuss topics ranging from genetic variants and daily wins to general support. Her work inspires action, builds community, and provides an outlet for individuals facing an unimaginable diagnosis.

Tim Gill and Scott Miller, Philanthropists of the Year

For their unparalleled impact in advancing LGBTQ+ rights and social justice, the 5th Annual Anthem Awards is honoring Tim Gill and Scott Miller with the 2025 Philanthropists of the Year Award.

As one of the nation’s most influential philanthropic couples, Gill and Miller have reshaped the landscape of equality through both strategy and generosity. Tim Gill, founder of Quark and the Gill Foundation, committed his fortune to building a future of fairness. His work has helped fuel landmark victories, including marriage equality and protections for LGBTQ+ rights nationwide.

Former US Ambassador Scott Miller, an accomplished finance executive and strategist, has been a driving force in expanding the reach of their shared mission. He has strengthened partnerships across business, politics, and grassroots communities to ensure lasting progress.

Patagonia – Don’t Buy This Jacket

Patagonia has put social impact at the core of their brand mission and values from the start, and their iconic Don’t Buy This Jacket campaign demonstrates how brands can use their platform to make an impact — or better yet, to help reduce our impact. This 2011 ad ran in the New York Times on Black Friday, making a lasting impression for its bold message addressing the issue of consumerism head on and asking readers to take the Common Threads Initiative pledge to reduce, repair, reuse, recycle, and reimagine a world where we take only what nature can replace.
