Held in partnership with the United Nations General Assembly, Climate Week NYC is the largest climate convening of its kind, uniting industry-leading sustainability experts and organizations from around the globe.
With an impressive lineup of over 600 events and activities spanning New York City, we know it can be tough to know where to start. We’ve put together a guide to help our community navigate this exciting week and connect deeper with the sustainability sector.

Climate Week Walking Tour with Billion Oyster Project

Join Billion Oyster Project during Climate Week 2024 for an enlightening walking tour that delves into the vital work being done to restore New York Harbor’s oyster reefs and their significant role in combating climate change through social change. Starting at the Public Exhibit House, the tours will provide an in-depth look at the Billion Oyster Project and its mission to create a rich, diverse ecosystem in the harbor.
The Climate Film Festival 2024

The Climate Film Festival (CFF) is the largest festival of its kind in New York City, supported by the Guardian US and featuring a jury of 15 industry leaders in climate. CFF aims to rewrite the narrative on climate change by harnessing the power of motion pictures, showcasing new and established voices, classic climate films, and energizing, human stories.
Climate Science Fair by Emerson Collective

Welcome scientists, farmers, foodies, artists, thinkers, nature lovers, and the curious of all ages to Emerson Collective’s 2024 Climate Science Fair. The Climate Justice Summit: People Deliver, is a powerful convening of climate justice leaders from around the world, focusing on global collaboration and knowledge exchange. This summit aims to catalyze global collaboration to drive progress on climate justice.
Educating for Climate Action Summit
September 24
The Wild Center, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Smithsonian Institution, Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, the Climate Mental Health Network, New York City Department of Education Office of Sustainability, and the National Wildlife Federation invite you to the Educating for Climate Action Summit during Climate Week NYC. This Summit, held at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, will bring together formal and informal educators from diverse backgrounds to explore key themes in climate change education, including the integration of youth perspectives, Indigenous knowledge systems, and climate justice in learning experiences in and out of the classroom.
